¡´Location¡G
This silo is located on the 71nd. Whart of the Kaohsiung No.2 Port which covers 40,673.62square meters and is served by a branch railroad which connects with the Tsao-yarh Railroad Terminal. Grains are reloaded into trucks here and sent to inland areas via the free way.

¡´Wharf Conditions¡G
It¡¦s a deep wharf whart. 280 meters long. 19 meters wide. Even at the lowest tide, it still has 14 meters of deep water so that 60,000 ton ships may easily wharf there.

¡´Silo¡G
Cylindrical grain siloes are constructed with reinforced concrete. Each bin is 39.05 meters in height, and 8.5 meters in diameter. There are 72 main grain bins ¡]each has a capacity of 1,240 tons¡^and 46 secondary grain bins ¡]with a capacity of 270 tons¡^. All together. They have a capacity of 100,000 tons.

¡´Mechanical and Electric Equipment
¡P Working Tower¡GThis tower, as a main control place, is a building of 8 stories, 48.3 meters in height, 18.5 meters in length and 54 meters in width.
¡P Unloading Equipment¡G There are 3 sets of pneumatic unloaders with an unloading capacity of 400 tons per hour per set.
¡P Intaking Equipment¡G There are 3 conveyor belts with an intaking capacity of 450 tons per hour per belt.
¡P Outgoing Equipment¡G There are 6 conveyor belts with an outgoing capacity of 240 tons per hour per belt.
¡P Central Control Systems¡G All operations are controlled by computers.
